Letter from the Editor: Introducing the Unclean 15

This Letter from the Editor is part of our Unclean 15 campaigna doctor-vetted list of potentially toxic, unsafe ingredients to avoid during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, and when you’re trying to conceive. A new standard for what you put in (and on) your body.

As my 92-year-old grandmother-in-law likes to say: “If you don’t take care of your body, where else are you going to live?” One of my favorites on her long list of infamous quotes. A sentiment that couldn’t be more true and the fundamental reason so many of us move our bodies, get good sleep, and take our vitamins everyday. And, a concept that takes on new meaning when we find ourselves pregnant, TTC, and growing our families.

“If you don’t take care of your body, where else are you going to live?”

At Perelel, we’re on a mission to make it easier for you to make informed, empowered decisions when it comes to your health. Introducing the Unclean 15, a list of potentially toxic, unsafe ingredients to avoid during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, and when you’re trying to conceive. We hope that the Unclean 15 will not only save you countless hours on Google researching ingredients, but also give you peace of mind when you find a beloved product that’s clean and safe.
